September 2020. [...] Halfway through the weeklong hike, a scramble through a Regional Alpine Parc called the Tour du Queyras (GR58), sat at my high altitude dinner table, I catch my breath. The sunset is beautiful, quiet, overwhelming, and I lay there against the rock in silence, listening.
